Ask Siri to watch live content on your Apple TV (4th generation)

In supported apps, Siri1 can launch live content for you. This feature is available in the U.S. only.

Ask for a live channel

You can tell Siri to go to a live channel in a supported app2. For example, hold downthe microphone buttonon your remote and say, "Watch ESPN live," or, "Watch FX." Then release the microphone button.

Here’s a list of supported apps that have live channels:

  • CNN Go
  • Cooking Channel
  • Disney Channel
  • Disney Jr

Ask for a live sporting event

You can ask Siri to find live sporting events in the ESPN app or NHL app2. For example, hold downthe microphone buttonon your remote and say, "Watch the New York Rangers game" or, "Which college football games are on?" Then release the microphone button. If the game is live in a supported app, Siri takes you to the app to watch the event.
