iMac (24-inch, 2024) Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Antenna
Before You Begin
Remove the following parts before you begin:
Tools
Adjustable torque driver (10–34 Ncm)
Antenna tool
ESD-safe tweezers
Nylon probe (black stick)
Support wedge kit
Torque driver (teal, 0.75 kgf cm)
Torx Plus 3IP 25 mm bit
Torx Plus 3IP 44 mm half-moon bit
Refer to a full list of tools required for all repairs.
Removal
Position the housing with the logic board facing up.
Use the teal torque driver and 3IP 44 mm half-moon bit to remove one 3IP screw (923-11029) from the antenna grounding clip on the logic board.
Use the 10–34 Ncm adjustable torque driver and 3IP 25 mm bit to remove the four 3IP screws from the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth antenna.

Note: The bottom screw (3) has a larger head than the three top screws (1, 2).
Use the antenna tool to lift the end of the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth antenna coaxial cable off the connector on the logic board.
Use the flat end of the black stick to gently peel the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth antenna coaxial cable tape from the speaker and housing.
Carefully lift the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth antenna coaxial cable out of the channel in the speaker. Then remove the antenna from the housing.
Reassembly
Position the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth antenna in the bottom left of the housing as shown.
Route the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth antenna coaxial cable through the channel in the speaker.
Set the torque value on the 10–34 Ncm adjustable torque driver to 10 Ncm. Use the adjustable torque driver and 3IP 25 mm bit to reinstall the four 3IP screws into the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth antenna.

Use the blunt end of the antenna tool to press the end of the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth antenna coaxial cable to the connector on the logic board.
Use the teal torque driver and 3IP 44 mm half-moon bit to reinstall one 3IP screw (923-11029) into the antenna grounding clip on the logic board.
Press the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth antenna coaxial cable tape onto the speaker and housing. Then use the flat end of the black stick to press the tape so it lays flat and smooth on the speaker and housing as shown.
Important: If you're installing a replacement Wi-Fi and Bluetooth antenna, peel off the adhesive release liners from the tape before adhering it to the speaker and housing.
