Purchase a new email domain to use with iCloud Mail

If you subscribe to iCloud+, you can purchase your own domain and set up a personalized email address to use with iCloud Mail. Learn how to purchase a new domain from iCloud settings on your iPhone.

What you need

To purchase a domain to use with iCloud Mail, you must be aged 18 or older and have:

  • An Apple Account with two-factor authentication turned on

  • A primary iCloud Mail email address set up to use a custom email domain

  • A subscription to iCloud+

To share a domain with others, make sure they also have an Apple Account with two-factor authentication turned on, and a primary iCloud Mail email address.

Purchase a domain on your iPhone with iOS 16 or later

  1. Go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud.

  2. Under Saved to iCloud, tap Mail.

  3. Tap Custom Email Domain, then Continue.

  4. Select Buy a Domain or Buy a New Domain, then enter the domain name you'd like to purchase.

  5. Tap Search. If the domain or similar domains are available, price options are listed.

  6. Select a domain, then tap Next and follow the prompts to complete your purchase.

A third-party registrar handles the sale of each domain. For billing or refund issues, contact them for support.
