How to make Apple Card payments
See how to check your balance, choose a payment source, and make a payment.
To check your balance, open the Wallet app on your iPhone and tap Apple Card.
The Card Balance is displayed right below your card.
Card Balance includes all new spending and any remaining balance from the previous month.
You can only pay off your Apple Card purchases after they clear, so your card balance will continue to reflect pending transactions, even if you pay your monthly balance in full.
If you have Apple Card Monthly Installments,1 your balance includes the newly billed monthly installment.
Find your monthly balance
Open the Wallet app on your iPhone and tap Apple Card.
Tap to the right of Card Balance.
Your monthly balance is automatically selected, and you'll see a green checkmark.
If you've already paid some of your monthly balance, your remaining monthly balance is shown.
What your monthly balance includes
All of your spending in a calendar month (except for any pending transactions)
Interest charges
Credits posted to your account
Any remaining balance from the previous month
Your interest-free monthly installment, if you have Apple Card Monthly Installments
If you pay off your monthly balance each month by the due date, you aren't charged interest.
How to make payments
Set up automatic payments for Apple Card
On your iPhone, open the Wallet app and tap Apple Card.
Tap the
, then tap .Tap Continue.
Choose if you want automatic payments set up to pay your monthly Apple Card balance, the minimum amount due, or a different amount. Tap Next.
If you selected monthly balance or minimum amount due, choose when you want to pay, then tap Next.
If you selected Other Amount, choose the amount and frequency of payments. Tap Next.
Double-click the side button to pay, then confirm with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode. Tap Done.
To cancel Autopay, open the Wallet app and tap Apple Card. Tap the

Make a payment
Open the Wallet app and tap your Apple Card.
Tap to the right of Card Balance. Your monthly balance is automatically selected.
To pay a different amount, tap Other Amount.
Use the keypad to enter a different amount.
Tap Pay [amount], then double click the side button to pay, and confirm with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode.
Schedule a payment
Open the Wallet app, then tap your Apple Card.
Tap to the right of Card Balance. Your monthly balance is automatically selected.
To schedule a different amount, tap Other Amount.
Use the keypad to enter an amount, then tap Schedule.
Tap One-Time Payment, then choose the date to schedule the payment.
Tap Pay [amount] on [your chosen date], double-click the side button to pay, then confirm with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode.
If your iPhone, iPad, or computer is unavailable
Contact an Apple Card Specialist at Goldman Sachs to make a payment.
Apple Card Monthly Installments
Apple Card Monthly Installment payments are interest-free. All other purchases you make with your Apple Card have a variable APR.
When you pay the minimum payment due, you've paid your Apple Card Monthly Installment for that month.
If you make payments toward your Apple Card balance first, you can reduce or eliminate interest charges.
To make an additional Apple Card Monthly Installment, or pay off your installment balance, you first must pay your Apple Card monthly balance in full.
If you pay more towards your installment balance, you might reduce the number of payments, but you must still pay your installment the next month.

Apple Card Family
For Apple Card Family,2 account owners and co-owners are responsible for all payments on the shared Apple Card account.
On a co-owned3 account, each co-owner can make payments on the account and can add a bank account.
Co-owners should verify that they selected the correct bank account before making or scheduling a payment on a shared Apple Card account.
Cancel a payment
On iOS 14 or later, you might be able to cancel a one-time payment that hasn't been processed yet.
On your iPhone, open the Wallet app and tap Apple Card.
Under Latest Transactions, tap the payment that you want to cancel.
Tap the payment again, then tap Cancel Payment.
Tap Cancel Payment again.
Add a payment source to make Apple Card payments
You can add a bank account or use Apple Cash to make Apple Card payments.
Add a bank account
If you have Apple Cash set up, the first time you add a bank account to your Apple Card account, you're asked if you want to add the same bank account you use with Apple Cash.
If you select Yes, the bank account is automatically added.
To add a bank account, you need your bank account number and routing number.
Open the Wallet app on your iPhone and tap Apple Card.
Tap the
, then tap .Scroll down and tap Bank Accounts.
Tap Add a Bank Account, then follow the instructions on your screen.
You can add multiple bank accounts to make payments. The first bank account you add will be your default bank account.
Delete a bank account
Before you delete a bank account, you must delete any payments that you set up using that bank account.
Open the Wallet app on your iPhone, and tap your Apple Card.
Tap
, then tap .Scroll down and tap Bank Accounts.
Tap Edit, then tap the

Pay your Apple Card bill with Apple Cash or a bank account
If you don't have an Apple Cash account, learn how to set one up.
Pay using Apple Cash
Open the Wallet app on your iPhone and tap your Apple Card.
Tap Pay [amount].
If you see your Apple Cash card, double-click the side button to pay, then confirm with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode. Tap done.
If you see your bank account, tap Change Bank Account, then turn the Apple Cash slider on. Double-click the side button to pay, then confirm with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode. Tap Done.
If the balance of your Apple Cash account is less than the amount of your payment, the remaining balance is paid from your default bank account.
Pay using your bank account
Open the Wallet app on your iPhone and tap your Apple Card.
Tap Pay [amount].
If you see your bank account, double-click the side button to pay, then confirm with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode. Tap Done.
If you see your Apple Cash card, tap Change Bank Account, then turn the Apple Cash slider off. Double-click the side button to pay, then confirm with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode. Tap Done.
Pay using a different bank account
Open the Wallet app on your iPhone and tap your Apple Card.
Tap Pay [amount].
Tap Change Bank Account, then tap Add Bank Account and follow the onscreen instructions.

Apple Card Family Participants and Co-Owners do not need to have a familial relationship but must be part of the same Apple Family Sharing group.
Each Co-Owner is individually liable for all balances on the Co-Owned Apple Card, including amounts due on your Co-Owner's account before the accounts merged. Each Co-Owner will be reported to credit bureaus as an owner on the account. In addition, Co-Owners will have full visibility into all account activity and each Co-Owner is responsible for the other Co-Owner’s instructions or requests. Co-Ownership involves risk, including payment history and other information about your Apple Card, including negative items like missed payments. Addition of new Co-Owner or merging existing accounts is subject to credit approval and general eligibility requirements. For Apple Card eligibility requirements, click here. Either Co-Owner can close the account at any time, which may negatively impact your credit, and you will still be responsible for paying all balances on the account.
