Group FaceTime audio and video call requirements
You can make or receive Group FaceTime calls in the FaceTime app when you meet the following requirements:
You’re connected to the internet.
You’re signed in to your Apple Account for FaceTime.
You have a built-in or connected microphone; for FaceTime video calls, you also need a built-in or connected camera.
You have one of the following:
macOS 10.14.3 Supplemental Update or later (See the Apple Support article About the security content of macOS Mojave 10.14.3 Supplemental Update.)
iOS 12.1.4 or later
iPadOS 13 or later
You can join a Group FaceTime call from your browser when you meet the following requirements:
You’re connected to the internet.
You have a built-in or connected microphone; for FaceTime video calls, you also need a built-in or connected camera (H.264 video encoding support required).
You have an Android or Windows device with the latest version of Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
This feature may not be available in all countries or regions.
