  13. Can I open older Logic projects in Logic Pro X?

    Logic Pro X can open projects from Logic 5 or newer.

  14. Will my version of Logic 8 or Logic 9 be replaced by the new version?

    When you install Logic Pro X, Logic 8 or Logic 9 will not be replaced by Logic Pro X. The Logic 8 or Logic 9 sound library will be replaced with a completely reworked library, designed by world-class sound designers. For compatibility with your older projects, you can use the Sound Library Manager to download "Legacy and Compatibility" content. This ensures that your older sound library files are available for your existing projects.

    When you install an update for Logic Pro X, the older version of Logic Pro X is replaced by the update.
