How to add and find favorites in Apple Music on your iPhone, iPad, or Android
If you subscribe to Apple Music, you can add songs, albums, artists, and playlists that you love the most to favorites. Quickly find your favorites in the Apple Music app. And get notifications for your favorite artists.
What happens when you add music to favorites
When you add a song, album, artist, or playlist to favorites:
The song is added to a Favorite Songs playlist. If Add Favorite Songs is turned on in Settings > Music, the song is also added to your library.
The album is added to your library.
The playlist is added to your library. If Add Playlist Songs is turned on in Settings > Music, the songs in the playlist are also added to your library.
The artist is added to your library. And you can get a notification when your favorite artist releases new music.
You can filter your library to see only your favorites.
You improve your music recommendations in Home.
How to add a song, album, artist, or playlist to favorites
Open the Apple Music app. Then follow the steps below.
Add a song to favorites
While playing a song, tap the Favorite button
in Now Playing.
Add an album or playlist to favorites
On your iPhone or iPad, tap the More button
. On your Android, tap the More button
. Then tap Favorite.
Add an artist to favorites
On an artist's page, tap the Favorite button.
If you don't see an option to add songs, albums, artists, or playlists to favorites
Update the Apple Music app on your Android to the latest version.
How to see your favorites
You can sort your library to show only favorites. And see all of your favorite songs in a playlist.

At the top of Home, tap the More button
