Send a note using other apps on Mac
You can use apps like Mail or Messages to share a copy of a note with others.
When you send a note this way, recipients can’t make changes to the note, and can only see an updated version of it if you send the note to them again. To collaborate with others, share the note to allow participants to edit it and see each other’s changes.
In the Notes app on your Mac, click a note in the notes list or double-click a note in Gallery view.
Click , then choose how you want to send the note.
If you choose Mail, the note (with its formatting) is inserted into a new email that you can address and send.
If you choose AirDrop, the note (with its formatting) is sent to the recipient you select, and added to their Notes app after they accept.
If you choose Messages, the note is inserted into a new message that you can address and send.
If you choose Reminders, a reminder is created in the reminders list you specify, with a link to the note.
Note: If you send a locked note while viewing it, it can be viewed without entering a password.
