Before You Begin
Warning

Refer to a full list of tools required for all repairs.
Caution
This procedure requires System Configuration. After you’ve completed all removal and reassembly steps, follow the instructions to initiate System Configuration.
Important
Order the correct color enclosure for the iPhone.
Removal
Remove the following parts and set them aside for reassembly:
For models with a physical SIM, remove the SIM tray.
Reassembly
A replacement enclosure includes the following preinstalled parts:
Bottom speaker (1)
Main microphone (2)
Taptic Engine (3)
SIM assembly (for models with a pSIM) (4)
USB-C connector (5)
Screw diagrams
Important: 923-14032 may be a crosshead screw or a trilobe screw. Use the appropriate bit for the screw that's included in the screw tray.
Models with mmWave antenna
Models without mmWave antenna
Peel the mmWave flex cable adhesive liner from the enclosure. Then reinstall the logic board. Press the mmWave flex cable to adhere it to the enclosure.

Reinstall the remaining parts in the replacement enclosure in the order listed to complete reassembly:
For models with a physical SIM, reinstall the SIM tray.
Caution
System Configuration is required if you've replaced the enclosure. Disregard notifications about iPhone features on the Lock Screen until you complete configuration.
After you’ve completed all removal and reassembly steps, initiate System Configuration by putting the device into diagnostics mode. Tap Start Session and follow the onscreen prompts.
You’ll have one attempt to complete System Configuration. If the attempt is interrupted, canceled, or encounters an error, the device will display a message instructing you to contact the Self Service Repair Store team for assistance.
