Identity verification for Apple Cash Family
When the family organizer sets up Apple Cash Family, they might need to verify their identity as part of the set-up process.
If an Apple Cash Family member is at least 18 years old and wants to have their own Apple Cash account, they can leave Apple Cash Family. When they leave the family, they'll be asked to verify their identity.
If you don't have the information that you need to verify your identity
If your identity can't be verified, you won't be able to use all of the features of Apple Cash, including sending and receiving money and adding money to your Apple Cash balance.
You'll still be able to use the money in your Apple Cash account to make purchases with Apple Pay in stores, in apps, and on the web, and you can transfer money to your bank.
If you need help, contact an Apple Cash Specialist at Green Dot Bank.
