
Problems with notifications in Classwork
If you have trouble with notifications in the Classwork app , try these suggestions.
If a student receives a notification indicating an app is not installed on their device, and they can’t install the app themselves, they might be using an organisation-owned device enrolled in a mobile device management (MDM) service. To install the app, contact your school’s IT administrator.
If notifications are allowed for Classwork (Go to Settings
> Notifications > Classwork, then tap Allow Notifications), Classwork sends you notifications when assignments or assessments are due and ready to review, when a student completes an activity, and when a student sends you a revision. Classwork sends students notifications when you send a new assignment or assessment, return an assignment or ask a student to try an activity again. Classwork also sends students notifications when an app activity is automatically marked as Done, as well as daily and weekly assignment and assessments summaries. If you or your students aren’t receiving notifications, confirm Allow Notifications is selected for Classwork. If you can’t tap Allow Notifications, the setting is controlled by your school and you must contact your school’s IT administrator.
