Accidental damage

If your product was damaged or your repair isn’t covered by the Apple Limited WarrantyAppleCare+ or consumer law, you might be able to repair or replace it for an out-of-warranty fee.

Battery service

Batteries are consumable parts that sometimes fail because of a defect or because they wear out through normal use.  The Apple Limited Warranty covers a defective battery, but it doesn’t cover wear from normal use. Learn more about battery service.

If your battery has a manufacturing defect and it's covered by our warranty, AppleCare+ or consumer law, we'll service it for no additional cost. If your battery issue isn't covered, we offer out-of-warranty battery service for a fee.

If you have AppleCare+ for Headphones, it offers replacement coverage if your eligible Beats headphone or earphone battery holds less than 80 percent of its original capacity.

AppleCare+ for Headphones is available for purchase within 60 days of your eligible Beats headphones and earphones purchase, if your product isn't damaged. 

AppleCare+ for Headphones extends your technical support and hardware coverage up to two years from your AppleCare+ purchase date. It also includes up to two incidents of accidental damage coverage. Each incident has an AppleCare+ service fee. If you don't have AppleCare+, you'll pay the out-of-warranty fee.
