The AppleCare Technician Certifications (ACTC) program is a comprehensive hardware certification program for technicians who want to become proficient in supporting and repairing Apple hardware.

AppleCare technician certification types

The ACTC program offers two certifications:

• Apple Certified Support Technician (ACST): Prepares technicians to support and troubleshoot Apple devices.

• Apple Certified Repair Technician (ACRT): Equips technicians to perform repairs on Apple devices.

The ACST certification is a prerequisite for the ACRT certification. Digital badges are issued on Credly to technicians who successfully pass the ACST and ACRT exams.
