About the Apple Games app data combination

Your gaming activity from the App Store, Apple Arcade and Game Center is combined to personalise and improve the Apple Games app. You can change how your activity is used at any time.

How the Apple Games app personalises your experience

The Apple Games app, like all Apple products and services, collects only the information needed to make your experience better. To provide the best gaming experience for you, Apple Games combines information about your gaming activity from the App Store, Apple Arcade (where available) and Game Center.

This information includes:

  • The game-related apps you download from the App Store, within Apple Games and on Mac

  • Your game-related app purchases, the content you browse, search, view and click in the App Store and Apple Games

  • Your engagement with Game Center friends, challenges, achievements and leaderboards

  • Information about the game-related apps you launch, including how recently you have launched them. This information is accessed and processed only on your device.

This information is used by Apple Games to provide a more personalised and relevant experience. For example, you can find your game-related apps all in one place and easily pick up where you left off. Information about the game-related apps that you’ve downloaded and played allows Apple to make more relevant recommendations to help you discover game-related apps and in-app events that might interest you.
