Send your Apple TV to Apple for service

After you contact Apple for service, take your Apple TV to Australia Post to pack and return to Apple.

Before you send in your Apple TV for service

Erase your Apple TV to restore it to factory settings and remove your personal information:

  1. On your Apple TV, go to Settings.

  2. Choose System (or General).

  3. Select Reset.

  4. Tap Reset (or Reset All Settings).

Make sure you keep your Apple TV plugged into power until the reset process finishes.

Send your Apple TV to Apple

  1. From the email you’ve received from Apple, print the postage label from the “Repair status“ link.

  2. Take your postage label and your product to Australia Post. Find the nearest Australia Post Office

Australia Post will package your Apple TV and provide a receipt. Keep the receipt to confirm that you've sent your Apple TV for service.

Apple is not responsible for any damage sustained during transit.
