Send your iPod to Apple for a service

Before you send your iPod

1. Back up your device.

   • Back up with iCloud

   • Back up with your Mac

   • Back up with your PC

2. Remove your iPod from Find My.

Send your iPod to Apple

1. From the email you’ve received from Apple, print the postage label from the “Repair status“ link.

2. Take your shipping label and your iPod to Australia Post. Find the nearest Australia Post Office

Australia Post will package your iPod and provide a receipt. Don't include any accessories like a case, power adaptor or cables. If you do, they won’t be returned to you.

Keep the receipt to confirm that you've sent your iPod for service.
