How to send your Mac to Apple for a service
After you’ve contacted Apple about a service, you’ll receive a kit that contains everything you need to return your product to Apple.
Before you send your Mac for a service
If your Mac won’t turn on or respond, finish as many steps as possible:
Erase your Mac
Turn off any third-party security software.
Send your product to Apple
From the email you received when your replacement product was sent, print the postage label from the “Repair status” link.
Take your shipping label and your product (packed in its box) to Australia Post. Find the nearest Australia Post Office
Keep the receipt that Australia Post provides to confirm that you’ve returned your product.
Apple is not responsible for any damage sustained during transit.
