Send your Mac to Apple for service

After you’ve contacted Apple for service*, you’ll receive a kit that contains everything you need to return your product to Apple.

Before you send your Mac for service

If your Mac won’t turn on or respond, finish as many steps as possible:

Ship your product to Apple

  1. From the email you received when your replacement product was sent, print the postage label from the “Repair status” link.

  2. Take your shipping label and your product (packed in its box) to Australia Post. Find the nearest Australia Post Office

Keep the receipt that Australia Post provides to confirm you’ve returned your product. Apple is not responsible for any damage sustained during transit.

*Send-in service may not be available in all countries or regions.
