Add Fleetsmith to Apple School Manager or Apple Business Manager
Apple Business Manager and Apple School Manager allow organizations to seamlessly enroll devices in an MDM solution like Fleetsmith. If your organization is using Microsoft Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), you can also federate accounts. Users with accounts in the Azure AD domain can use their Azure AD credentials to sign in to Apple services. Users can also use it to sign in on Shared iPad.
Configure Fleetsmith to work with Apple School Manager and Apple Business Manager
In the Fleetsmith Admin Console, click MDM & DEP in the sidebar, then click Set up DEP.
Add Fleetsmith to Apple School Manager or Apple Business Manager. See:
Add an Apple customer number or a Reseller ID. See:
Preassign and approve those devices within Fleetsmith while they’re still in transit to the destination.
Devices usually appear in Fleetsmith within 24 hours of placing an order.
Renew your Apple School Manager or Apple Business Manager token
Server tokens expire after one year, and must be replaced. Well before a token is about to expire, sign in to Apple School Manager or Apple Business Manager, generate and download a new token, and transfer that token to Fleetsmith for immediate installation.
