Word-processing documents, like reports or letters, include mainly text. These documents have a body text area where you type, and text flows from one page to the next, with new pages created automatically as needed.

To see whether a document is set up for word processing, select some text, tap the text, then tap Insert (you may need to tap the Show More Items button first). If Page Break is among the options, it’s a word-processing document.
