Change Sharing preferences in iTunes on PC
In the iTunes app on your PC, use the Sharing pane of iTunes preferences to share your library (or specific playlists) or choose to update play counts.
To change these preferences, choose Edit > Preferences, then click Sharing.

Share my library on my local network | Allow up to five other computers on your local network (such as a home Wi-Fi network) to display and play items from your library. You can share your entire library or select specific playlists to share. If you select “Require password,” others can see your library but they can’t play anything without the password you specify. | ||||||||||
Home Sharing computers and devices update play counts | Play counts (the number of times an item has been played) for items in your iTunes library are updated when the items are played on other computers in your Home Sharing network, or on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod. |
