Functions Browser

In Pages for iCloud, you can use the Functions Browser to add predefined functions to a cell or formula in a cell. To open the Functions Browser, select a table cell, then type an equal sign (=). The Functions Browser opens in the Format sidebar on the right.

If you don’t see the sidebar, click the Format button in the toolbar.

An equal sign appears in a table cell, the Format button is selected in the toolbar, and the Functions Browser appears in the Format sidebar on the right. The absolute value function is selected. A description of the function appears below the list of functions.
