If you need help with eye setup on Apple Vision Pro
Learn what steps to take if you're not able to successfully complete eye setup on Apple Vision Pro.
Make sure that your Apple Vision Pro fits correctly
Your Apple Vision Pro needs to be properly positioned on your face. If you see an alert that you need to move the device upwards or downwards on your face, or that the displays are too close or too far from your eyes, follow the instructions in that alert.
If you notice light leakage from the sides of your Light Seal, that can be a sign that you need to adjust your fit.
Check that Apple Vision Pro has a clear view of your eyes
Make sure your eyes are open as wide as possible and try eye setup again.
Eyelash extensions and items near your eyes like rhinestones and glitter might impact your experience with Apple Vision Pro.
If your eyes are too dry or too wet (for example, if your eyes are watering or you just used eyedrops), that might also impact your experience.
Check that your displays and ZEISS Optical Inserts are clean
Make sure that your Apple Vision Pro displays and your ZEISS Optical Inserts are clean and free of debris.
Reset the pairing of your ZEISS Optical Inserts
If you use ZEISS Optical Inserts, you can also try resetting the pairing of your ZEISS Optical Inserts.
Make sure that you're only using supported visual aids or accessories
You can’t wear Apple Vision Pro while wearing eyeglasses. If you need vision correction, you can purchase ZEISS Optical Inserts. Third-party lens solutions for Apple Vision Pro aren't supported, and might impact your experience.
Cosmetic contact lenses aren’t compatible with Apple Vision Pro and should be removed before using the device.
If you use hard contact lenses, it might impact your experience with Apple Vision Pro.
If you have a diagnosed vision condition
Apple Vision Pro relies on where a person’s eyes look and how they move while they’re using Vision Pro. Some medical conditions, such as those involving eyelid drooping, changes in eye alignment, or uncontrolled eye movements might make it difficult for Vision Pro to properly detect your eyes. This might impact the visual experience.
