Add or change your home address in Contacts and Maps on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac

In iOS 18, you can set different home or work addresses in Contacts and Maps to customize your experience — like how Weather uses the addresses that you set in Contacts to share the weather that's most relevant to you.

Set and edit your home or work address in Contacts on iOS and iPadOS

1. In the Contacts app, tap My Card. If you haven't set up My Card before, tap the + button and enter your information. Return to your contacts list, touch and hold your name, then tap Make This My Card.

2. Tap Edit.

3. Tap Add Address then type in your information.

4. Tap the label next to your address and choose an option like home, work, school, or other.

5. Tap Done.

Delete your home or work address in Contacts on iOS or iPadOS

1. In the Contacts app, tap My Card.

2. Tap Edit.

3. Tap the delete button next to the address you want to delete.

4. Tap Delete.

   

Set, edit, or delete your home or work address in Maps on iOS and iPadOS

1. In the Maps app, scroll to Library and tap Add.

2. Begin to type the address that you want to set as home or work, then tap the address when it's available.

3. Scroll down to Type and tap My home or My work.

4. Tap Add to Contact Card if you also want to update your address in Contacts, then tap Done.

   

To delete an address in Maps, touch and hold the address that you want to remove from your Library. Then, tap Unpin.

In iOS 18, you can set a home or work address in Maps that is different from the home or work address on your Contact Card.

Refine your home or work address in Maps on iOS and iPadOS

1. In the Maps app, scroll to Library.

2. Tap and hold the icon for the location that you want to change.

3. Tap Edit Details.

4. Tap Refine Location on the Map and move the icon as needed.

5. Tap Done.

   

Edit your home or work address on iOS 14 or earlier

1. In the Maps app, tap the Info button.

2. Tap Report an Issue.

3. Tap Home, then move the icon as needed.

4. Tap Done.

Set, edit, or delete your home or work address on macOS

1. In the Contacts app, select Card > Go to My Card. If Go to My Card doesn't appear, click the + button to create a card with your information. Then select Card > Make This My Card.

2. Select Edit.

3. Add your home address. To add a work address instead, click home in the menu and choose work instead. As you add an address, another address field appears.

4. Click Done.

To delete an address on your Contacts card, select Edit then click the delete icon.

You can also set, edit, or delete an address in Maps on macOS. Open Maps, then click the info button next to your home or work address in the sidebar to reveal your options.
