To see what version of tvOS your Apple TV 4K is using, go to Settings , then go to General > About.

To update the software on your Apple TV 4K, go to System > Software Updates, then select Update Software. You can also set Apple TV 4K to automatically download and update to the latest software by turning on Automatically Update.
