How to manage your AppleCare plan

Manage or cancel an AppleCare plan that's paid monthly

If you pay for your AppleCare plan on a monthly basis, you can manage or cancel the plan from your iOS device, Mac, or PC. Learn how to cancel your subscription.

If you don't see your plan, finish setting up your account online, then you'll be able to manage your plan and how you pay for it.

If your AppleCare plan still isn't listed with your other services, or if you need more help, contact Apple Support.

When you cancel your AppleCare plan, the monthly billing can't be renewed. If you're no longer eligible for an AppleCare plan, you can't add it to your device again.

Cancel an AppleCare plan that's paid in full

If you paid for your AppleCare plan in full, there are a few things to keep in mind when you cancel it:

  • If you cancel your AppleCare plan within 30 days of your purchase date, you’ll get a full refund, minus the value of any service already provided. You can find more information about AppleCare Protection Plan or AppleCare+ in the AppleCare product Terms and Conditions. If you have AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss, you can find more information in the Insurance Documents.
  • If you cancel your AppleCare plan more than 30 days after your purchase, you’ll get a refund based on the percentage of unexpired AppleCare plan coverage, minus the value of any service already provided. You can find more information about AppleCare Protection Plan or AppleCare+ in the AppleCare product Terms and Conditions. When you're ready to cancel your AppleCare plan, contact Apple Support and tell the advisor that you need help canceling the AppleCare plan. It may be helpful to have the AppleCare agreemeent number from the Proof of Coverage certificate, the Serial number of the device that the AppleCare plan covers, or your original sales receipt.
