If you're missing comments or likes in a shared album

If you can't see comments or likes in a shared album in the Photos app, check System Status and your internet connection.

1. Go to the System Status page to check for issues affecting Photos.

2. Check the internet connection on all your devices by going to apple.com or iCloud.com.

3. Save the photos in your shared album.

4. In version 26 or earlier of iOS, iPadOS, visionOS, or macOS, turn Shared Albums off and back on again:

   • On your iPhone, iPad, or Vision Pro: Go to Settings, tap Apps, then tap Photos. Turn off Shared Albums. Wait 10 minutes. Turn Shared Albums back on again.

   • On your Mac: Open the Photos app. From the menu bar at the top of the screen, choose Photos, then choose Settings. In macOS Monterey or earlier, choose Photos, then choose Preferences. Click the iCloud tab, then deselect Shared Albums. Wait 10 minutes. Select Shared Albums to turn them back on again.
