IAB banner specs
The following IAB banner specifications are for Workbench and Google Ad Manager.
- Animated banners (animated GIFs) can loop only three times, and the total animation can’t exceed 15 seconds. Repetitive or rapid flashing, blinking in excess, or visually stressful animations aren’t allowed. 
- Assets may only be produced as JPEG, GIF, or PNG. 
- Up to 6x the pixel dimensions are supported for all IAB banners on Workbench. Specifications are optimized for all supported devices. 
- For campaigns sold directly by Apple, advertisers must provide assets that are at least 2x the pixel dimensions (for example, IAB 320 x 50 asset requirements would be 640 x 100).
