Deauthorize third-party app permissions for Apple Music

You can remove a third party app’s access to your account in Settings on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or in iTunes on your Mac or PC.

When you use third-party apps on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, you might be asked to grant them permission to access to your personal data and information. For example, some third-party music apps might ask permission to access to your Apple Music membership and media library.

If you no longer want these apps to have access, you can deauthorize them.

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

  1. Go to Settings > [your name] > iTunes & App Store.
  2. Tap your Apple ID.
  3. Tap View Apple ID. You might be asked to enter your password or use Touch ID.
  4. Scroll to the App Permissions section. Tap the service that you want to deauthorize access to. If you haven't authorized any apps, you won't see the App Permissions section.
  5. Find the third party app, then swipe left on it.
  6. Tap Delete.
