Usage limits of intelligence features

The Generate Image, Generate Shape, Generate Presenter Notes, and Generate Presentation features are subject to limitations:

  • The Generate Presentation feature is powered by OpenAI and is available only in regions that OpenAI supports and in regions where Apple Creator Studio is available. Images generated for slides as part of this feature are also powered by OpenAI.

  • The Generate Image, Generate Shape, and Generate Presenter Notes features are powered by Google Cloud and are available in certain regions1 where Apple Creator Studio is available.

  • Availability may be further limited by network restrictions or blocked by local restrictions, network providers, or government regulations.

  • The exact number of images, slides, shapes, and presenter notes that you can generate varies based on the complexity of the queries, server availability, and network availability. At a minimum per month, if used exclusively, you can:

    • Generate 50 images

    • Generate 250 shapes

    • Generate 50 presentations (with approximately 8–10 slides each)

    • Generate presenter notes for 700 slides

  • Usage limits reset each month.

  • To view your usage status:

    • On Mac, depending on the app you're using, choose Keynote, Pages, Numbers, Freeform, or Pixelmator Pro from the menu bar, choose Intelligence Features, then choose Show Usage Status.

    • On iPhone or iPad, open Keynote, Pages, Numbers, Freeform, or Pixelmator Pro, tap the More button, tap Intelligence Features, then tap Show Usage Status.

  • These features may lead to unexpected results. To report a concern with the results:

    • For a generated presentation, click or tap "Report a concern" in the alert that appears when slides have finished generating.

    • For generated presenter notes, click or tap the Report a concern button in the presenter notes after the notes have been generated.

    • For a generated image or a shape, click or tap the More button on the image, then click or tap "Report a concern" in the menu.

  • These features do not integrate with personal ChatGPT and Google accounts.

Intelligence features and privacy

Some intelligence features in Apple Creator Studio are powered by third-party providers, such as OpenAI and Google Cloud. These features are designed to protect your privacy. They're clearly labeled, you choose when to use them, and you don't need an account with the provider.

When you use one of these features:

  • Your request and any content you share are sent to the provider, along with limited context like your time zone, country or region, device type, language, and the feature you're using. This helps the provider return accurate, relevant results.

  • Your general location, based on your internet connection, is shared with the provider for purposes like helping prevent fraud and to comply with applicable law. Your IP address isn't shared.

  • The information sent isn't associated with your Apple Account. The provider uses it only to answer your request and doesn't store it, unless required by law.

Providers aren't allowed to use your information to train their models.
