Get a CFDI for AppleCare+ subscriptions in Mexico

Learn how to get a Comprobante Fiscal Digital por Internet (CFDI) when you purchase an AppleCare+ subscription from Apple.

When you purchase an AppleCare+ subscription with Apple for your Apple product, you can get a CFDI, an online digital tax invoice.

During the process to purchase an AppleCare+ subscription, you will be prompted to opt in to request a CFDI using your Registro Federal de Contribuyentes (RFC). The information you enter when you opt in for a CFDI must match your Constancia de Situación Fiscal or your Cédula de Identificación Fiscal exactly.

After you opt in to request a CFDI and complete the purchase of your AppleCare+ plan, you will receive an email from EDICOM (notificaciones@businessmail.net) with the CFDI. For monthly and annual subscriptions, you will receive an email at each subscription renewal.

If you need help locating your CFDI, contact Apple Support for help.

If your CFDI request was rejected

If the information you submitted when you opted in for a CFDI does not match your Constancia de Situación Fiscal or your Cédula de Identificación Fiscal exactly, you will receive an email from EDICOM. For assistance with correcting the information in this initial purchase, contact Apple Support for help.

To ensure that future subscription renewals use the correct information, update your RFC information in your payment settings.

  1. Open Settings, then select your Apple Account.

  2. Select Payment & Shipping, then select Tax Information.

  3. On the next screen, enter your Tax ID, Legal Name, and Postal Code in the prompted fields.

  4. Select Tax Regime and choose the appropriate option.

  5. Select End Use Code and choose the appropriate option.

  6. Select Save.

If you didn't opt in for CFDI during purchase

If you did not opt in to receive a CFDI during your purchase, and you want to get one, you will need to cancel your AppleCare+ subscription and select CFDI during new AppleCare+ subscription purchase when prompted.*

*You can find more information about canceling AppleCare coverage and refund expectations in the applicable AppleCare Terms and Conditions.
