Set a Live Photo as your Lock Screen wallpaper on your iPhone
In iOS 17 or later, you can choose a Live Photo for your Lock Screen wallpaper so that your image plays whenever you wake up your device.
In the Settings app, tap Wallpaper.
Tap Add New Wallpaper.
Tap Live Photo.
Tap the Live Photo that you want to use on your Lock Screen.
Customize your Live Photo wallpaper. If you want your Live Photo wallpaper to play automatically when you wake your phone, make sure the play button is on.
Tap Add.
Tap Set as Wallpaper Pair to use your new wallpaper on the Lock Screen and Home Screen. If you want a separate Home Screen wallpaper, tap Customize Home Screen and set up a second wallpaper.
You can also touch and hold your Lock Screen to open the wallpaper gallery and add a new wallpaper.
