Control the ability of apps to run software that doesn’t meet the system’s security policy on Mac
Some apps can run software that doesn’t meet the system’s security policy on your Mac. You can decide which apps are allowed to run the software.
Choose Apple menu
> System Settings, then click Privacy & Securityin the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)
Click Developer Tools.
For each app listed, turn the ability to run software that doesn’t meet the system’s security policy on or off.
To add an app to a list, click below the list, then navigate to the app you want to add.
If you’re a system administrator and want information about deploying security settings, see Apple Platform Deployment.
