Symbols used in iTunes on PC

When you import music and videos, symbols indicate their status. Other symbols are buttons that you can click to do tasks.

Symbol		Description
		The item is a video.
		The item is a PDF file.
		Next to a song: The song can’t be located; it may have been moved or deleted. Next to a podcast: Recent episodes haven’t been downloaded because you have multiple unplayed episodes.
		The song is stored on the internet; when you click the song, it is streamed live to your computer.
		The song will be included in the specified action. For example, only songs with a checkmark are imported when you import a CD.
		The song is playing.
		Click to eject a CD or disconnect a device.
		You haven’t begun to play this item. If this symbol appears next to a TV show season or podcast series, there is at least one episode in the season or series that hasn’t been played.
		You’ve begun to play this item, but haven’t yet played it all the way through.
		Click to switch between displays. This symbol appears only if iTunes is performing an action (such as updating Genius or downloading a file) while an item is playing.
		Click to turn subtitles on or off.
		A playlist created by iTunes based on a song.
		A playlist you create based on rules you specify.
		A playlist you create of any songs you choose.
		A playlist you create of any movies you choose.
		A playlist you create of any TV shows you choose.
		A playlist you create of any podcasts you choose.
		A playlist you create of any audiobooks you choose.
		The song is stored in iCloud and available to be downloaded to your computer.
		The song is stored in iCloud for a family member and available to be downloaded to your computer.
		The song isn’t eligible to be uploaded to your iCloud Music Library. For example, the song file might be larger than 200 MB, or encoded at 96 kbps or less.
		Your iTunes library contains duplicate versions of this song, and only the other version was uploaded to your iCloud Music Library.
		The song is being matched, but the process hasn’t been completed yet.
		Click to let Apple Music know that the song, album, or artist is one of your favorites.
		You’ve chosen the song, album, or artist as a favorite.
		An item contains explicit content (such as lyrics).
		Apple TV is available using AirPlay.
		The speaker is available using AirPlay.
		AirPods are available.
		HomePod is available using AirPlay.
		On iTunes 12.8 or later, a stereo pair of HomePods is available using AirPlay.
		On iTunes 12.8 or later, a group with a HomePod and a speaker is available using AirPlay.
		The TV is available using AirPlay.
		You need to enter a password to connect to the AirPlay-enabled speaker.
		You need to enter a password to connect to the AirPlay-enabled TV.
		The selected AirPlay device has an error.
		You selected an AirPlay-enabled device but haven’t entered its password.
