Import users using a .csv file
This option is only available in accounts that were created with email (rather than with G Suite or Office 365). Be sure to use the following formatting guidelines when creating your .csv file:
It must have only three columns: first_name, last_name, email_address.
It can’t have more than 5000 user rows (5001 rows total including a header row).
The file must contain a value for each cell and the separator must be a comma.
The character limit for each cell can’t exceed 100.
Email addresses must be in proper format (jsmith@example.com).
Email addresses in the “email_address” column must be the same domain as the account owner.
Email addresses in the “email_address” column can contain subdomains (jsmith@subdomain.example.com).
Even though the email_address column can contain subdomains, if your account was created with a subdomain, you won’t be able to import primary domain users. For example, if jsmith@subdomain.example.com is the account owner, jsmith@example.com won’t be accepted.
After your file has been formatted, upload it to Fleetsmith:
In the Fleetsmith Admin Console, click Users in the sidebar, then click Import.
Drag and drop your .csv file into the dialog, then click Finish Importing.
