If a payment card that you use with Apple Pay is declined
If a payment card that you use with Apple Pay is declined or doesn't work when you try to make a purchase, check to see if your card can be used with Apple Pay.
On your device, go to the Wallet app or Wallet & Apple Pay settings:
On your iPhone, open the Wallet app.
On your iPad or Apple Vision Pro, go to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay.
On your Mac with Touch ID, choose Apple menu > System Settings (or System Preferences), then click Wallet & Apple Pay.
Select your payment card.
If you see the message "This card cannot be used," check if your bank or card issuer currently supports Apple Pay:
If you have more questions, contact your bank or card issuer.
To use Apple Pay you need a supported card from a participating card issuer. To check if your card is compatible with Apple Pay, contact your card issuer.
