You may need to check which version of Microsoft Windows you have on your computer to make sure that it'll work with iTunes, iPod, QuickTime, or other Apple products. Follow these steps to find out which version you have:

  1. Right-click on My Computer and click Properties to open the System Properties window. (Your My Computer icon may be in the Start menu or on the desktop.)
  2. Click the General tab to see the operating system version information.
