Je Mac biedt verschillende tools om je computer te identificeren. De eenvoudigste manier is via 'Over deze Mac'. Klik hiervoor op 'Over deze Mac' in het Apple-menu in de linkerbovenhoek van het scherm. Of gebruik de app Systeeminformatie. Meer informatie over hoe je deze tools kunt gebruiken om je Mac te identificeren.
Als je jouw Mac niet bij je hebt of als deze niet opstart, kun je een van deze oplossingen gebruiken:
- Zoek het serienummer aan de onderkant van de Mac bij de wettelijk verplichte aanduidingen. Dit nummer staat ook op de originele verpakking, naast het etiket met de streepjescode. Voer dit serienummer vervolgens in op de pagina Controleer dekking of de pagina Technische specificaties om jouw model te vinden.
- Op de originele verpakking staat mogelijk ook een Apple onderdeelnummer, zoals MLH12xx/A (waarbij 'xx' per land of regio verschilt). Zoek in onderstaande lijst het nummer dat gelijk is aan het Apple onderdeelnummer om je model te vinden.
