Unable to start up from a NetBoot or NetInstall image on an authenticated 802.1X Ethernet network.

Apple computers do not support starting up from a NetBoot or NetInstall image that is hosted on an authenticated 802.1X Ethernet network. This functionality is not included with the computer firmware and is expected behavior.
