Apple TV (2nd generation): "Netflix is currently unavailable" when accessing Netflix for the first time in the UK or Ireland
Apple TV (2nd generation)
UK or Ireland customers attempting to access Netflix for the first time via Apple TV may encounter this alert:
"Netflix is currently unavailable. Try again later."
In order to successfully use Netflix in the UK or Ireland, Apple TV will need to go through a one-time restart.
To restart your Apple TV:
- Press and hold Menu and Down on your Apple Remote for six seconds, then release when you see the LED light on the Apple TV flash rapidly.
- Disconnect the Apple TV from its power source, then plug it back in.
