Archived - Aperture 3.2.1: Some images auto-imported via Photo Stream may not be visible in library

This article has been archived and is no longer updated by Apple.

If your Photo Stream exceeds 1,000 images, older images auto-imported from Photo Stream may no longer appear in Aperture 3.2.1. This may occur even if the preference to auto-import images from the Photo Stream is activated.

Update to Aperture 3.2.2.

To recover missing images:
  1. Update to Aperture 3.2.2.
  2. After the update is complete, open Aperture and hold down the Command and Option keys until the Library First-Aid window appears.
  3. Choose the Repair Database option and click the Repair button.
When Aperture reopens after the repair has completed, the missing images will be visible again.
Note: These steps will recover the masters but not any versions or edits you may have created.
