Final Cut Pro X: Unusable fonts may cause unexpected behavior with Inspector

Symptoms

When the Font List in the Inspector is being populated, an unusable font can cause the Inspector to become unresponsive.

Resolution

Remove the unusable font and restart Final Cut Pro X.  For information on identifying and removing unusable fonts, see the section titled Validate Problematic Fonts in Mac 101: Font Book.
