Archived - Boot Camp, MacBook Pro (Mid 2010): Yellow exclamation marks on USB devices listed in Microsoft Windows Device Manager

Symptoms

Some devices listed in the component list within Microsoft Windows Device Manager may appear with two yellow exclamation marks in the USB-Controller component:

  • Intel® 5 Series/3400 Series Chipset Family USB
    Universal Host Controller - 3B3B
     
  • Intel® 5 Series/3400 Series Chipset Family USB
    Universal Host Controller - 3B36

Resolution

You can safely ignore these indicators in Device Manager. They do not indicate a need for any additional drivers or software.
