Symptoms

When deploying a NetRestore image that was created from a Mac OS X v10.6.6 source disk, the NetRestore target computer may begin to start but then shut down.

Resolution

Update Server Admin Tools to version 10.6.7, and update the source volume to Mac OS X v10.6.7, using the Combo client update.

Important: To create a working NetRestore image, you must install the Combo update on the source volume, even if it was running Mac OS X v10.6.6. You can download and install the combo update manually if it is not offered in Software Update.
