iTunes 10: Microsoft Outlook Hotmail Connector may conflict with syncing iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Symptoms
With Microsoft Outlook Hotmail Connector and iTunes 10 installed, you may not be able to sync contacts, calendars, or notes. You may see an alert stating "com.apple.Outlook.client.exe has stopped working and has been closed by Windows," or a similar message.
Resolution
If you have contacts, calendars, or notes that are not syncing as expected with the Microsoft Outlook Hotmail Connector, you can resume syncing between Outlook, iTunes, and your device by disabling the Microsoft Office Outlook Hotmail Connector.
For Outlook 2003:
- Open Outlook 2003
- From the Tools menu, choose Options.
- Click the Other tab.
- Click the Advanced Options button.
- Click the COM Add-Ins button.
- Deselect the checkbox for Microsoft Office Outlook Hotmail Connector.
- Click OK.
For Outlook 2007:
- Open Outlook 2007
- From the Tools menu, choose Trust Center.
- Select Add-ins from the left column.
- Look at the list of add-ins beneath "Active Application Add-Ins" and determine if anything is listed other than the "iTunes Outlook add-in." If so, disable those add-ins.
- In the Manage box, click COM Add-Ins, and then click Go.
- In the COM Add-Ins dialog, deselect the checkbox for Microsoft Office Outlook Hotmail Connector.
- Click OK.
For Outlook 2010:
- Click the File tab.
- Click Options.
- In the Outlook Options dialog box, click Add-Ins.
- If it is not already selected in the Manage list, click COM Add-ins.
- Click Go.
- Deselect the checkbox for Microsoft Office Outlook Hotmail Connector.
