Archived - iOS: Unable to switch between song-repeat options in iPod/Music application after using Nike+

Symptoms

After using Nike+ on your iPhone or iPod touch, you may be unable to switch between options for repeating songs in the iPod/Music application.

Resolution

The iPod/Music application allows you to switch between repeating the current song, repeating all songs in the current album or list, and not repeating songs. (You can learn about song controls in the iPhone/iPod touch user guides.) 

Repeat one song icon
Repeat all songs icon
No repeat icon
Repeat the current song. Repeat all songs in the current
album or playlist.
Do not repeat songs.

If the iPod/Music application is unable to switch between these choices:

  1. Turn off the device and then turn it back on.
  2. Once the device is back on, launch the iPod/Music application.
  3. Switch to anything other than "repeat the current song".
