Other possible issues:

  • If your upgrade was successful, but you are seeing duplicate calendar data in iCal, see this article.
  • If your upgrade was successful, but you need additional assistance with MobileMe Calendar, see this troubleshooting article.

Resolution

Follow the steps below to troubleshoot upgrading MobileMe Calendar.

  1. If this is your first upgrade attempt, please try again in a few hours or at a different time of day. This often resolves any issues, especially when upgrading during peak calendar use periods.
  2. Extremely large calendars may have trouble upgrading MobileMe Calendar. Calendars over the following limits may not upgrade:
    • Total number of calendars: 400
    • Total number of events across all calendars: 30,000
    • Total number of To Do items: 5,000

If you have any of the above items in excess of the listed limits, you should consider removing any of them from iCal or Outlook that are old, unneeded, or duplicated.

  3. Reset syncing on MobileMe with sync data from your computer. See this article for instructions.
  4. After you reset syncing, wait a few minutes and sign in to me.com/calendar
  5. Try the upgrade again.
Important: Apple asks that you report any issues you encounter. If an upgrade is unsuccessful, you should see a window with a "Send to Apple" button, allowing you to report the issue. Reporting issues will help improve the reliability of the upgrade for you and other MobileMe members.
