MobileMe Control Panel: Stops working after updating to iTunes 9.2 for Windows

Symptoms
After updating to iTunes 9.2 via the iTunes download page, MobileMe Control Panel for Windows will stop working until you install the latest MobileMe Control Panel (version 1.6).
Additionally, you may see the following message when your computer starts up:
"AppleSyncNotifier.exe – unable to locate component. This application has failed to start because CoreFoundation.dll not found. Reinstalling the application may fix the problem."
Resolution
In order to resume using MobileMe Control Panel for Windows after updating to iTunes 9.2, use either of the following methods:
- Run Apple Software Update and install the latest MobileMe Control Panel software.
- Download and Install the latest MobileMe Control Panel software from Apple's MobileMe Control Panel download page.
