Aperture 3: Contrast edits do not transfer from iPhoto to Aperture 3

Symptoms

Adjustments made to images using the Contrast slider in iPhoto are not preserved in Aperture when the library containing those images is imported into Aperture 3.

Resolution

This is expected; reapply the desired contrast after importing the iPhoto library into Aperture. Other adjustments applied to images in iPhoto will carry over when they are imported into Aperture 3.
