Archived - Apple Wireless Keyboard (2009): Windows does not recognize some special key functions when using Boot Camp

Symptoms

When you use an Apple Wireless Keyboard (2009) with Microsoft Windows XP or Vista and Boot Camp 3.0, which ships with Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard, or Boot Camp 2.1, which shipped with Mac OS X v10.5 Leopard, the following keys may not be recognized: brightness controls, volume controls, Eject key, and the Control-Alt-Delete key combination.

Resolution

If you are using Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard, download and install the Boot Camp 3.1 Update to enable these functions in Windows. 

For computers with Mac OS X v10.5 Leopard, download and install the Boot Camp 2.2 Update.
