MobileMe: Reordering photos and albums doesn't work as expected

Symptoms

When trying to reorder photos or albums either in the application you originally published to me.com/gallery from, or within me.com/gallery, the new order doesn't "stick."

Resolution

It is recommended to use me.com/gallery to reorder your photos, albums, or movies. Order changes made in iPhoto, Aperture, or iMovie may not be reflected on the web or on the MobileMe Gallery app for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. If you have albums published from both Aperture and iPhoto, Aperture albums will be displayed first, followed by iPhoto albums. You cannot intermingle Aperture and iPhoto albums on your Gallery.

Additional Information

In the MobileMe Gallery app for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, the order of albums and their photos will match the order at gallery.me.com/membername.
